So the first Slumberland Bookshop Tome 1 was created in 1989 for the opening of the Belgian Comic Strip Center. The shop soon became independent from the Glénat chain, and six more bookshops opened in quick succession in Brussels, Louvain-La-Neuve, Namur and Liège along with an online shop.
Through its seven bookshops Slumberland offers a wide selection of comic strip albums, manga, comics, children’s books and art products (posters, screen prints, postcards, figurines etc.)
The 25 specialist booksellers employed across the seven Slumberland bookshops are able to give customers individual advice to help them choose their reading to suit their tastes perfectly.
And to make the comic strip genre even more accessible Slumberland launched its online bookshop in 2012. Now you can find and order all the latest works in the Ninth Art in just a few clicks.
